Unitized Curtain Wall Upper-lower Transom Connection Details is a core technical node for vertical structural load transfer and thermal deformation coordination in unitized curtain wall modules, specifically designed to address inter-story displacement, gravity load transfer, and thermal stress expansion in high-rise buildings. The system employs a high-strength aluminum alloy transom as the main body, integrated with a multi-directional plug-in connection mechanism. Through stainless steel bolt sets with slotted holes, it enables dynamic adjustment in the vertical direction, allowing units to compensate for displacement of up to ±12mm along the Z-axis (vertical), while absorbing micro-deformations along the X/Y axes (horizontal) via elastic gasket sets. This effectively balances three-dimensional deformations caused by building structural settlement, wind-induced vibrations, and seasonal temperature variations.

The connection node establishes a three-layer functional sealing system: the outermost layer is a continuous silicone weather-resistant sealant injection layer to resist wind and rain erosion; the middle layer features a closed-cell EPDM compression seal strip, forming an airtight barrier during unit stacking; the innermost layer comprises a "passive drainage cavity" formed by water drainage channels and air pressure balance passages, utilizing Bernoulli's principle to automatically drain seepage water and stabilize cavity air pressure. All connectors undergo a 240-hour salt spray test and fluorocarbon anti-corrosion coating treatment. Their mechanical performance has been validated through finite element analysis, capable of withstanding the highest-level wind pressure (Level 12) and seismic action (9-degree fortification) under repeated loads as specified in the national standard GB/T 21086.
